Padma Ling Ripa UK is at present, a very small community service organisation dedicated to spirituality and education, serving those who are interested in understanding Buddhism. Our work aims to preserve the culture of Tibetan Buddhism and by inviting our teachers to the UK, Gyetrul Jigme Rinpoche and (soon we wish) Terton Namkha Drimed Rabjam Rinpoche, we contribute to the Western understanding of mind, wellbeing and human potential. All income is directed towards this goal.
Our spiritual director, Gyetrul Jigme Rinpoche, is a very active and socially engaged teacher. He inspired and funded various humanitarian endeavours.
There are many ways to get involved and support Rinpoche’s humanitarian and educational activities.
If you wish to contribute to change and help spirituality grow within our present Western society, you may choose to donate an hour or two per day, per week or even per month, and offer your skills voluntarily to help within specific areas of our expanding charitable activity. We need assistance in the areas of teachings and events organisation, fundraising, and Dharma publishing.
Padma Ling Ripa UK depends on its community for survival. There are multiple ways to become involved with our work besides volunteering. For example, you can also make financial contributions to a specific project. Also, one can choose to become a lifetime patron of Padma Ling UK.
