Medicine Buddha : A Buddhist Approach to Health and Well-Being
With Dungsey Gyetrul Jigme Rinpoche
November 3 - 4, 2018
Illness, which is an integral part of our lives, is caused by an imbalance of our vital energies and the best remedy lies within ourselves: help re-establish harmony within those energies through meditating techniques that evoke our own healing resources.
We connect with nature through the five basic elements present in the universe and in ourselves. As long as balance is maintained within these elements, we remain healthy, while the abusive use of one element destroys the harmony necessary to our physical and mental constitution, which is at the root of the problems that poison our life.
The practice of healing according to the Buddha of Medicine inspires us to work not only on an outer level, but deep within ourselves, thus balancing vital forces to bring inner harmony and outer health.
