The Four Thoughts that Turn the Mind from Samsara
Retreat in Full Silence
The end of the year is a conducive moment that invites contemplation and meditation on the key issues of human life.
Based on “The four thoughts that turn the mind from Samsara”, the winter retreat teachings will enlighten us on the four essential reflections:

– impermanence and death are an integral part of life
– the chain of causes and effects of our actions are inevitable
– Samsara “, or a life based on appearances, will never be a source of true happiness
Contemplating and integrating “the four thoughts that turn the mind from Samsara” is the basis of our commitment on the spiritual path, according to Tibetan Buddhist tradition. It is also the gateway to the “specific preliminaries”, also known as the “Ngöndro”.
The contemplation of these thoughts leads practitioners to new insights that can become a true source of motivation in their spiritual quest. This retreat in complete silence will give us the opportunity to plunge into the essence of Buddhist practice and philosophy guided by a highly qualified teacher, Dungsey Lhuntrul Dechen Gyurmey Rinpoche.
