Buddha Festival Saga Dawa
Once again this year, the Ripa International Centre is celebrating “Saga Dawa” to mark the birth, enlightenment and death of the Buddha, and everyone is cordially invited!
The programme is a journey of discovery in the footsteps of the Buddha: lectures, workshops and encounters on the philosophy and history of the Buddha. A wide range of activities for young and old: festive traditional outdoor ceremonies, meditation and mindfulness exercises, yoga for all, lectures, thangka painting, Momo workshop, discussion rounds and more.
Our in-house kitchen with typical Tibetan food and the Ripa Café will cater for your physical well-being
Children’s programme:
Bathing the Buddha Baby, horse riding, creative studios, meditation workshop “Sitting still like a frog”, where the mindful handling of thoughts and feelings can be experienced in a playful and creative way.
